This year for the 4th we headed up to nice cool Idaho. It was great! And really hard to come home back to the heat! (Warning lots and lots of pictures to follow!)
On our way up we stopped in Utah and went through the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. It was really beautiful inside. Matthew did really well and Brayden well lets just say he is a 2 year old. Can you tell that it is really bright outside?
Our boys being really reverent. This lasts for about 2.5 seconds!
Family pictures are hard to get!
We had our own little fireworks show in Idaho! Matthew loved sparklers. Actually he is a little scary with them and I really thought he was going to light someone on fire the way he was waving that thing around.
Brayden liked the fireworks from a distance so he hung out with me while the "big" boys lit off the fireworks!

Early in the morning on the 4th Nate ran a 5k with his sister and brother. I stayed home to watch the kids and sleep in :o)

Here we are at the parade! Brayden loved all of the motorcycles and Matthew thought it was the coolest thing that people would just throw out candy!
Yeah a good family pic! Everyone is looking! We are just hanging out waiting for the fireworks to start.
More hanging out! The boys love their Grandpa Scoresby!

Our boys after a long day of eating, playing and watching fireworks! I don't think anything could have woken them up, they were out! Actually Matthew fell asleep about 10-15 minutes before the fireworks were over but Brayden stayed awake the whole time! After it was over he started clapping and then he waved goodbye to the fireworks!

On Sunday Nate's sister Julie blessed her little baby, Katelyn. This is the Scoresby crew that was there for the event.

11 out of 15 grandkids!

Outside all the kids were playing and Aunt Carrie too (she is the fun Aunt!)
All of the adults were outside talking and watching the kids ride their bikes. Matthew came up to me and told me that he needed to take a picture of all of us. Not too bad, maybe we will make him be the family photographer! (on a side note we aren't on the grass because the boys had just finished laying the sod)
