2 Minutes

Yesterday morning I was cleaning the kitchen and the boys were outside playing. I checked on them and then ran to the bathroom. When I came back this is what I found them doing:



Seriously 2 minutes and Brayden was completely soaking wet (and loving every minute of it). I just laughed, closed the door and went to get my camera! They are starting to play together really well and Matthew even shared the hose with Brayden. As you can see Brayden thought that was great! I guess it was time for our patio to get a bath (it has been a while since we vacuumed out there!)

This weekend we made a really quick trip to Utah. Nate and I went to the BYU football game on Sat. Honestly it was a little boring. BYU blew out Wyoming and it just wasn't much of a game to watch. But it was nice to go out with just my husband :) My beautiful sister came down to watch our kids while we were gone. She even dealt with a little diarrhea with Brayden. And she offered to do it again! What a great sister! Sunday we went and walked around BYU campus. It was really pretty with all of the flowers and the leaves are just starting to change colors. It was so nice out. Then we went to Sacrament with my sister-in-law on campus. I am not really sure what we were thinking taking 2 small children to a singles ward (I have forgotten how deathly silent it can be) Needless to say we didn't last long, ok Brayden didn't last at all. Matthew did ok and didn't want to leave his cool Aunt Carrie. It was actually pretty funny hearing him "trying" to whisper :) It was a fun trip. Now it is back to the daily grind!!

1st Day of Preschool

Matthew's first day of preschool! (it was actually last tuesday) Don't ya just love the cheesy smile? Oh well! He did horrible actually, probably because it was at my house. I don't think that he actually understood that it was school and not just play time. He did better the next day and I am sure he will do much better when it isn't at our house!

Breaking Dawn

I wasn't going to post about this but what the heck. Yup, I finished it in about 24 hours (Nate was outta town and well you saw how the boys kept themselves busy). I have to admit about 1/2 way through I was a little weirded out. But in the end I liked it. I like how everything turned out. But I am wondering if Mrs. Meyer left herself some room to write a 5 book. I know she says that this is the last one but with the no big fight at the end and the bad guys just packing up and leaving sure made me wonder. Anyway, it was good and I did enjoy the story. I hope that the movie is good. I know my husband won't go see it with me (and that is ok I don't know if I can handle all of his comments..ie "Like an guy would act like that") sooo anyone up to a girls night out in Nov?

1st official day of Nursery!

Hooray!! The day has finally come! Brayden is now officially a member of the nursery! (I say officially because last week I had to sneak him in because Nate was outta town and I had to teach!)

This is very unusual for Brayden. I think this is actually only the 2 time he has fallen asleep in his highchair! Nursery must have been really fun!

Matthew's first BYU football game! He is already learning the fight song--ok he just thinks that it is cool that he gets to stomp and clap! I guess I need to work on him being fair and balanced and take him to an ASU game! Go Devils!
